Public safety notice: cyanobacteria bloom
Great Hill Pond has an active cyanobacteria bloom, verified by Chatham Health District. Chatham has posted warning signs at several public access points advising against contact with dense surface accumulations or water that appears green.
Avoid any water that looks solid green or blue-green, and avoid contact with any mats, films, or scums along the shoreline.
For the full timeline of reports, test results, and Chatham's visits, see the Treatment Log on the Projects page.
